GUAPP Open bag filters with exhauster

The GUAPP series represents an economic solution in the field of dust elimination as well as light dry and not incandescent chips (wood, aluminium, etc.), when the quantity to stock is not such to require the use of bigger systems.
The GUAPP filters are suitable for small centralized or localized plants, thanks to the different versions, in order to satisfy a large range of capacities and storage quantities.

MAS - MAD Bag filters

Filters of MAS - MAD series, totally built in galvanized sheet, have been produced in order to solve the suction problems in all environments where, for space, aesthetic or cost reasons, it is not possible to mount a silos, or for single suctions of very high flow rate.
The structure is wholly modular, in press-bent galvanized sheet with sight bags. In case of assembly outside, it is advisable to shroud the bags (only the upper part) with proper panels.

SMALL SILOS Bag filters

Built in hot-galvanized sheet, SMALL SILOS filters were born to solve the suction problems in all those environments where for space, aesthetic or cost reasons, it is not possible to mount a traditional silos.
The modular structure enables to mount the filters both as open structure (for interiors) and for shrouded structure (for outdoors) and it is ideal for a quick and not very cumbersome transport.

RAF Bag filters

Filters of RAF series are bag dust collectors with shaking cleaning by means of a pneumatic vibrator. They are built in hot galvanized sheet, bolted together. The modular structure enables a wide modularity of filtering surface, as well as quick transport and reduced dimensions. RAF filters are supplied disassembled and without the serial electric panel. They must be coupled to an adequate fan according to the aeraulic circuit to which it must be applied.

FINPOL Self-cleaning cartridge filters

The great advantage of the cartridge filters is represented by the reduced overall dimensions compared to the high available filtering surface.
With the FINPOL series, GGE presents a high quality standard in the field of cartridge dust collectors.
The wide modularity and the different typologies of filtering materials enables to cover almost all the problems which must be faced with this kind of filter.
Cartridge dust collectors have been produced as an alternative to the traditional bag filters as they allow, under the same dimensions, a filtering surface 20 times greater.
FINPOL are self-cleaning systems which profit from the advantages offered by the counter-current compressed-air cleaning.

FINPOL ATEX Cartridge filters for explosive dusts

FINPOL ATEX has been designed in order to operate in environments where a high protection against the explosions is required, as foreseen by the ATEX 94/9/CE Norm.
Thanks to the particular structural expedients, the filter presents a structural resistance equal to 0,5 bars, certified through the analysis of the finished elements (FEM).
This allows the use of the filter with highly explosive powders and it is suitable for the use in ATEX 21 and 22 classified zones.

POLJET Self-cleaning bag filters

The dust collectors series POLJET are bag filters and as such they take advantage of the textile filtration.
In the specific case it is a textile filtration with cleaning of the media in counter-current compressed air, commonly known as "JET FLOW". This system allows the purification of big airflows characterized by a high dust contamination.
The filtration happens for a combined acting of three mechanisms:
inertial impact: the solid particles dragged by the gas, because of their mass, do not follow the trajectory of the gas, when this curves finding an obstacle, and they impact on the same obstacle (prevailing for particles > 1 µm);
interception: the solid particles following the gas trajectory around the obstacle found themselves at lower distances to their radius with respect to the obstacle and are intercepted by it (prevailing for particles 0,2-1 µm);
diffusion: the particles, because of their Brownian motion, collide with other molecules of the gas by deviating from their trajectory and can collide with the obstacle (prevailing for particles < 0,2 µm).
The POLJET are built for a continuous operation (also 24/24) thanks to the automatic cleaning system which reduces the risks of clogging of the bags to a minimum and consequently it reduces the necessary times for the maintenance. The fabric filter is manufactured in tubular shape and with special materials. The various filtrating materials can be distinguished for fundamental characteristics, such as: the dimension of fibres, the mechanical resistance of fibres (at various temperatures), the chemical resistance of fibres, the resistance to the air passage and the electrostatics charges.

CICL Centrifugal cyclones

The cyclone is a cylindrical-shape suppression system in the upper part and conical in the lower part. The principle on which it is based is the centrifugal force that enables the separation of powder particles from a gas current to which a rotary motion has been imposed. The rotary motion occurs thanks to the tangential inlet on the body of the cyclone; this generates a centrifugal acceleration that acts on particles in an analogous way to the weight force, but in radial direction.  The separation efficiency depends on the peripheral speed of the flow and on the inverse of the bending radius. For such reason we tried to increase the speed of the flow and to create of the rotary motions with small bending. Under the same peripheral speed the increase of the diameter of the cyclone diminishes the centrifugal effect and therefore the efficiency, however a speed too high increases, boundlessly, the head losses. The correct dimensioning is therefore up to the planner who has matured the experience on this type of application.

BUBBLER Hydro-filters

Hydro-filter BUBBLER is an effective suppression system which is able to solve the filtration problems that with other solutions would be difficultly faceable. In particular it finds its best application in the suppression of dusts that are dangerous due to their explosivity or inflammability, or in presence of effluents that tend to impact on the traditional cartridge or bag filters. The machine is made up of a parallelepiped with inclined bottom, supported by four steady feet of various lengths.

SST - SSTR Sub-stations

The substation, during the last few years, has gradually replaced the storage silos in the carpentries compartment. Thanks to the coupling of an adequate bag filter and of a system of pneumatic transport of chips, the problems of the storage in silos, as well as the remarkable dimension and the emptying, are today outdated. The phase of the silos emptying is in fact a critical moment, in which there can be a remarkable dispersion of dust.

 In depth
 Counter-current "reverse jet" washing system

The washing system is the counter-current “reverse jet”: compressed air jets are blown inside the cartridges in a cyclic way by the sequencer. The shock wave of this blowing produces the detaching of the dusts deposited on the external side of the cartridge. The cleaning occurs at continuous cycle during the normal functioning of the suction system.
For this reason, a part of the dusts are recalled from the suction and deposit again on the cartridge. To remedy this inconvenient a   “post- cleaning” must be executed, by going on in washing for a certain period the cartridges, even after the stop of the ventilator. This allows a more effective cleaning and a longer life of the filtering media. The duration of the  “post-cleaning” is variable and examined for each case according to the nature of dusts and its granulometry.
The dusts, filtered and detached from the cartridges fall down into the hopper and are collected into special metallic containers or diffused by means of rotary cells, auger conveyors, etc.
